Hoping you are all having a safe and healthy start to the new year. It seems 2025 has started with devastating impact from the terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day to the Southern California wildfires. Our hearts go out to the families of all the victims as we face additional stark reminders of the importance of preparedness, coordination, and resilience in the face of these threats, both human and nature caused.

As we work to support the tireless first responders and emergency personnel during these perilous disasters, we are reminded of the critical need for rapid responses and effective communications during emergencies and evacuations. During accelerating disasters, such as the current Santa Ana-fueled fires in California, Genasys is supporting first responders in communicating life-saving instructions through evacuation warnings, shelter options for families and their animals, medical resources, and much more.
