As we make our way through November, the focus on community resilience and safety remains as important as ever. Earlier this month, the Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) awarded a multi-year contract to Genasys for our state-of-the-art emergency alert and AI-powered traffic management solutions. This partnership aims to bolster Maui’s public safety infrastructure, ensuring timely and effective communications during emergencies while also optimizing traffic flow for safer evacuations.
We also recently announced our multi-year contract with Los Angeles County for our Genasys ALERT mass notification software, enhancing emergency communications for the county’s 9.8 million residents and 50 million annual visitors. The addition of ALERT, alongside the existing Genasys EVAC system, will provide LA County with comprehensive emergency planning, multi-channel alerts, wide-ranging evacuation management, and real-time safety notifications before and during disasters and throughout any potential repopulation phase.
We look forward to keeping you informed on these remarkable integrations of technology with public safety, designed to protect and empower responders and communities when they need it most.
Stay safe and informed,
Richard Danforth
